Nov 22 2015 // Salvation Without Regret // 2 Corinthians 7:1-16

We all have regrets, whether big or small.  Foolish decisions, lost opportunities, costly mistakes, bridges burned, words said or left unsaid.  Regrets can plague us and torment us and seemingly eat us alive at times.  Yet as we live long with them we find they also have a certain comfort and usefulness.  The Apostle Paul delivers the hopeful but unsettling news that regrets have no place in salvation.  They are not easily discarded, but there is a better comfort to be had: Jesus has borne our guilt and our grief.
