THIS COMING SUNDAY

THAT YOU MAY BE HEALED
James 5:12-20
Pastor Mark Bergin

James began his letter to the first century church commending the way of wisdom so that Christians would be complete and lacking in nothing. He now ends the letter with that same theme of wholeness in mind. He is calling believers out of the ways we try to make ourselves whole and into the way God makes us whole. He’s calling us out of ego-building and into faith. Out of relying on our own cleverness and into relying on the power of Christ. He wants us to live attuned to the work of God in us, paying attention to where God leads us. This attunement, this walking with Christ, this is where true healing and wholeness are found.
