Getting Here

We meet in a former warehouse space at 2219 W Grand Avenue between the Ukrainian Village neighborhood and the Kinzie Industrial Corridor. Visitors are welcome to use the street parking available right in front of our location. (Regular TPD attendees park in the Mitchell Elementary School parking lot located one block north of our location.)

If you are a single parent, use a wheelchair, or require any assistance with parking or entering/exiting our location, we have Greeters on hand that would be happy to assist you! If possible, please email us at info@tpd.church to give us a heads up so we can make appropriate plans to help welcome you to our gathering.

Sunday Gatherings

We meet for worship every Sunday at 10am! When you walk into our lobby on a Sunday morning, you'll find the kids classrooms and nursery immediately to your left and our Info Table to your right. Bulletins are handed out to every attendee by our Greeters or can be found on the Info Table and contain an Order of Service (with corporate readings in bold print) as well as announcements,  upcoming events, information about Community Groups and classes and other ways to get connected into the life of our church family. (Check out an example bulletin here.) Coffee is available and you are free to bring it into the sanctuary with you.

Our service concludes with a Benediction and dismissal. Following the service, a few members will be available at the front of the sanctuary for prayer. There will also be someone located at the Info Table in the foyer who can answer any questions you might have. We look forward to your visit!

TPD Kids

In addition to our infant nursery serving babies and toddlers (3 mo-3 yrs), we have two kids' classes available for ages 4-6 and 7-9 during the beginning portion of our 10am service. (Children are always welcome to stay with their families for the entire service if desired.)

Our goal for TPD Kids on Sunday mornings is to remind each little one of who they are in Christ. Who He is, why He came, what he Had to do; and that His life is available to each and every one of us. We strive for our teachers to develop real, trusting, meaningful relationships with the littlest members of our church body.

Each week, our time starts off with kids age 4-9 together. During this “Common Time,” we sing songs, pray together, share about our weeks, and read/recite Scripture. We then split off into two classrooms (ages 4-6 and 7-9), when our teachers go through a lesson, as well as a game or activity surrounding a passage of Scripture.  The older class is more discussion based, whereas the younger class tends to be more interactive. Parents then come for pickup so kids can participate in singing and communion.

For our kids age 10 and up, we have a youth cohort program, where they sit with a mentor during service and take notes, followed by a brief discussion after service. Each week there is a prepared Youth Cohort booklet available at the kids' check in table for them to use to follow along with the service.
